  • To register, student applicant must present:
    • Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card
    • High School Diploma – or a U.S. States equivalency form.
      • If this is unavailable, you may take a Scholastic exam
        at the school during your first visit.
  • Textbook and CPR card included.
  • State Certification exam and immunization fees are NOT included.
  • Experienced Instructors and Job Placement available.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
Graduates of this program will be able to perform basic first aid, CPR, take vital signs, apply the elements of the basic nutrition in meal planning and follow infection control measures. Additionally, they will be able to apply proper body mechanics in bed making, lifting and turning patients. Graduates of this program may find entry-level employment as a nurse aide with hospitals and nursing homes.

Nurse Aides are certified after passing the state exam.
The Training strictly adhere to the curriculum and the time mandated by Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS).

*Texas Nurse Aide Training programs are required to check both the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) and the Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) and to conduct a criminal history background check for all applicants. Applicants found to be listed on the EMR, or who are listed on the NAR in “revoked” status, or who have a criminal history that would bar employment in a DADS-licensed facility or agency are prohibited from enrolling in a nurse aide training program.

** The Nurse Aide program has been placed on probation because it has failed to demonstrate at least 70% in credentialing and placement rate.
